Heriot's Cricket Club is one of the oldest clubs in Scottish cricket, having celebrated its centenary in 1989. It was originally founded by the former pupils of George Heriot's School, but is now an open club.

Over the years the Club has produced some of the finest players in Scottish cricket and regularly contributes players to Scotland's senior and youth sides.

We have two squares on our ground at Goldenacre in Edinburgh and currently run three senior sides. In 2010 the 1st XI will be playing in the 1st Division of the Scottish National League whilst the 2nd and 3rd XIs will be playing in Divisions 2 and 6 respectively of the East of Scotland league. We also run 6 Junior sides at Under 10; Under11; Under 13; Under 15 and Under 18 age groups.

The Club has strengthened its playing membership for the 2010 season, having persuaded Sean Weeraratna to return to the Club in the capacity of Club Coach, Adam Lockhart-Krouse as Paid Player and Mathew Thomas as Overseas Amateur.

We are confident of finishing in the top six in Division 1 and thereby earn promotion back into the top League in 2011.
